Doctor Who Poetry
A flare of excitement rushed through his bones,
Her hand he took, and off they would go,
To another universe or planet to see,
Or back to Earth is where they would be.
He’d grab her hand a whisper ‘run’,
She’ll wish he’d never leave when the day is done,
She’ll think the running will never end,
But I must tell you she’s wrong, my friend.
Around every twist and turn awaits a dangerous task,
No matter where you go, a breath could be your last,
The Doctor’s list of enemies seem to grow each second,
And being a companion pushes them to their limits.
And sometimes he loses them,
Oh yes the best leave him quite grim,
Or sometime they walk out,
Or sometimes they come back without a doubt.
If you see bowtie-tweed-jacket-wearing-man,
Step into his box and he’ll lead you by the hand,
To worlds of possibilities where things are totally awesome,
But manage your time wisely and travel with caution.
Don’t be blink or be exterminated,
Count the shadows or you’ll be terminated,
Even the normal are not as they seem,
They might be a Slitheen!
A mad man, a blue box, and a traveling companion,
Whisked away on a journey where anything could happen,
If you look at both his TARDIS and his hearts you might find,
He cares a lot and they’re both bigger on the inside.
